ITINERARY
Day 01: Puno (or La Paz) – Copacabana.
This tour begins with pick-up from your hotel and travel to the town of Copacabana, located 151 km away. The journey takes approximately 3 hours, following the shores of Lake Titicaca with breathtaking views of the Cordillera Real mountain range. Upon arrival at the Copacabana peninsula, check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, after lunch, we will spend 2 hours exploring Copacabana. We will visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Copacabana, the local market, and then ascend to Calvary Hill, where we will observe the Aymara and Quechua Yatiris (andean priest) who offer blessings and protection to each family.

Day 02: Tour Titicaca Sun and Moon islands.
8:00 a.m. After breakfast, we will head to the pier and board the boat to the islands. We will arrive at the southern part of the Island of the Sun, where we will visit the archaeological remains of Pilkokaina – the Inca Temple. Afterward, we will take a short walk up the Yumani steps, built by our ancestors, to reach the Fountain of Youth. There, you can purify yourself by drinking some sacred water and enjoy the beauty of this Inca garden. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the Island of the Moon. On the northern part of the moon island are the archaeological remains of Iñac Uyu, a temple dedicated to the worship of the Moon, also considered an Ajllawasi or House of the Virgins of the Sun. After our visit, we will return to the Island of the Sun.

Day 03: Return to Copacabana – La Paz or Puno
After breakfast, free time to admire the scenery and experience the local way of life.
At the appropriate time, return to Copacabana. 1:30 pm. Bus Transport from Copacabana to La Paz or Puno.
